The BD-305 Agate Kutter Diamond Blade has been designed to cut a variety of hard lapidary materials on high speed water cooled tile and brick saws with minimal chipping. These thin-rim blades provide straight cuts in dense rock such as such as quartz, agate, geodes, petrified wood and jasper as well as granite, marble and porcelain tile.

I purchased the BD-305 blade for cutting stones on my 7 inch tile saw which runs at about 3600 RPM. and is water cooled.
The blade performs very well with my saw compared to other blades I've used that are made for slower speed lapidary saws such as the MK- 303, which is a good blade at slower speeds using coolant.
I have cut about fifty Jasper and agate slabs with the BD-305 so far and very pleased with this blade.
My saw has a small reservoir so I set up my garden hose to keep reservoir full while cutting and water cool as possible.
I recommend this blade to anyone using water cooled tile saws to cut stones.
