Ruff N Tuff Tools offers great shipping options and rates. We use FedEx, UPS, and USPS for orders less than 150 lbs. We ship common carriers (LTL) for orders above 150 lbs and those shipments that require extra handling and care. Your shipping costs and options are presented during the checkout process.
Common Carrier (Orders Less Than 150 Pounds)
Our Standard Shipping is Ground Service. For approximate ground service delivery times, see our shipping rates and times ground service map. If you need your items more quickly, we offer some of the best expedited shipping rates in the business using Express Ground Shipping, FedEx 2 and 3 Day, and FedEx Overnight, available for most items. All Common Carrier shipping charges are based on your location and the shipping weight of the order and are calculated during the checkout process. We don't expect it will, but if your order arrives damaged, please refuse the shipment and let the driver know the order is damaged. Then contact us to arrange for a replacement order.
Freight Shipments (Orders 150 Pounds or More)
Most items you order that weigh over 150 pounds will be shipped by one of the above freight carriers. Ruff N Tuff Tools also offers Lift Gate service for an additional charge on most items under 1500 lbs. This option can be selected at checkout. Lift Gate Service means the driver will off-load the merchandise to the ground. Once on the ground, it is your responsibility to move the freight inside. You also have the option of picking up the freight from the nearest terminal. Please arrange this with the freight carrier prior to delivery. Items over 150 lbs may ship separately from items under 150 lbs. Lift Gate Service is not available for Heavy Equipment. These products will require special equipment for offloading (forklifts, telehandlers, etc.).
A signature is required upon delivery of freight shipments. Before signing the freight bill of lading, inspect the shipment for damages and shortages immediately upon delivery. It is your responsibility to verify the condition of the merchandise that you receive. In the event of a problem, contact a Ruff N Tuff Tools customer support agent through our Contact Us form before signing the freight bill.
A signature is required on Residential, Expedited and Freight Shipments.
We can ship to PO Boxes via USPS and to APO/FPOs, U.S. territories, Canada and all non-embargoed countries. Not all services are available for every location. The checkout process will list available options or contact Customer Service at 1-888-747-8593 for freight options for your specific location.

Out of Stock Items
We pride ourselves on having one of the lowest out-of-stock rates in the industry. Occasionally we may have to backorder an item that is on your order. We will automatically ship the item to you as soon as we receive it. When an order is placed, we authorize the total amount of the order.
Drop shipments
On occasion, we may choose to drop ship your order direct from the factory.

If the item(s) in your cart have the green truck logo which indicate FREE SHIPPING, your order ships FREE! Residential delivery, lift gate and other special handling charges may still apply for larger or bulk sized products. If you choose free shipping and your item is being shipped to a residence, then your item will still ship free, however residential delivery and lift gate charges will be added to your order. Canoga, Concrete Mixers, Block saws, Barranca Lapidary Equipment and some larger equipment are excluded from the Free Shipping program, however contact our customer service for discounted rates.
- Free Shipping only applies to a commercial address in the continental United States.
- Residential shipments: A surcharge of $65.00 along with a $50.00 lift gate fee is required for all LTL deliveries.
- All International shipments are Prepaid & Add to Invoice unless you schedule to pick up at the factory warehouse. Contact [email protected] to make arrangements prior to ordering.
- Optional Incoterms are EXWORKS, CFR and CIF.
