These Epoxy filled diamond blades are manufactured withsteel cores which have laser cut outs and a special epoxy is injected into thecenter. This helps the blade to produce only 99dB(A). Laser Cut Cores haveepoxy filled silencing material that provide limited noisereduction/suppression.
Silent Core diamond blades have aspecialized core that reduces vibration and noise. Instead of the standardhigh-pitched whine, Silent Core blades are significantly quieter. This isbeneficial on job-sites where controlling the cutting noise level is an issue,and a quieter blade reduces the chance of hearing loss for the operator. TheMK-62GSPV has a epoxy filled laser cut core that provides noisereduction/suppression.
