There are two types of masonry blade, Segmented and Turbo. Within each category you can get the blade to cut Wet or Dry. Wet cutting is the preferred choice, however there are times when cutting with water is just not feasible.

How do you choose a blade?

1. Segmented blades provide a more aggressive cut and longer life span than turbo blade.The drawback is they can chip slightly more than a Turbo style blade.
2. Turbo style blades provide a cleaner cut when cutting into masonry, concrete and stucco.Their design allows for faster cutting, but their life span is not the same as a Segmented style blade.
